Arkansas National Guard Youth ChalleNGe.

Welcome to the Arkansas National Guard Youth ChalleNGe Program. During the late 1980`s, the Rockefeller Foundation identified the need in our country to provide opportunities for your young people who were working to overcome problems in their lives. This includes educationally at-risk teens. In 1991 the Joint Armed Service Committee directed the National Guard Bureau to have states provide a program for high school droputs.

The Arkansas National Guard Youth ChalleNGe was formed in 1992 and the first class graduated in 1993. A total of 2211 young adults have graduated.
