We are currently accepting applications
for the January 2009, HINGYCA Class 30.

The Hawaii National Guard Youth ChalleNGe Academy offers you the opportunity to participate in a Life Changing program in a highly disciplined environment. The program will provide you with the training, experience and education that will benefit you, your family and your community.

Steps to apply

Step 1 - Complete an application packet & transcript request form
Complete the following application packet with Parents/Guardians and mail to:

                Hawaii National Guard
            Youth ChalleNGe Academy
            Attn: Admission
            PO Box 75348
            Kapolei, HI 96707-0348

Also, complete the transcript request form and send it in to the applicant's current/last high school.

Step 2 - Attend an orientation/interview session
An Academy Staff member will contact you to schedule an orientation/interview appointment. The appointment will last 2-3 hours and the applicant's legal guardian must be present the entire time. The applicant must be prepared to take an academic test, drug test and interview.
