Application Process


An application may be obtained by downloading the application form [This application is a PDF. Free Adobe download]  All directions for completing the application is included in the cover letter of the downloaded application.

You may also obtain an application by calling 1-800-529-7700 or by picking one up from your local high school guidance office, local juvenile probation department or local DHHR office.  No referrals are necessary.

• The Academy is unable to accept court-ordered youth. 
• Teens must volunteer to attend. 
• The Academy offers two classes annually, January and July.
• Applications are accepted on a first-come first-serve basis.

NOTE: Applications are now being accepted for Class 1-09 which begins January 11, 2009.
